The RACGP Foundation and the former Adelaide North East Division of General Practice (ANEDGP) have established a research grant for the purpose of conducting primary care research related to the boundaries of the former Adelaide North East Division of General Practice. The objective is to fund a researcher to conduct innovation and quality improvement research that advances the profession of general practice.

Award details

The RACGP Foundation and the ANEDGP grant is available for a period of one year to provide GP researchers with an opportunity to conduct research that advances the profession of general practice. Funding of up to $20,000 (excluding GST) is available.

This grant is made available by the former Adelaide North East Division of General Practice and administered by the RACGP Foundation.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the RACGP Foundation / ANEDGP research grant, the principal investigator must be a general practitioner or general practice registrar practicing within the boundaries of the former Adelaide North East Division of General Practice. Selection criteria

Applications will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • significance or importance of the proposed research to general practice 30%
  • degree to which the research benefits patients 30%
  • potential for innovation and quality improvement outcomes 30%
  • feasibility of carrying out and completing the research in a one year timeframe 10%
