The RACGP Foundation / Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group (PC4) research grant was established in 2010 to build capacity in cancer research in primary care, and to mentor early and mid-career researchers in general practice.
The successful project will be PC4-supported and have access to PC4 services and infrastructure, and as part of the PC4 program to support early and mid-career researchers, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to recruit a senior PC4 member as a mentor for their research project.
Funding of $10,000 (excluding GST) is available to fund high quality cancer research in primary care that will strengthen the knowledge base of general practice. Novice and early career researchers are encouraged to apply, however the applicant will need to demonstrate adequate training potential for themselves as well as sufficient links with experienced researchers to ensure that the project is feasible.
This grant is made available by PC4 with matched funds provided by the RACGP Foundation.
